Bands and weights are not a debate. They solve different problems. Weights are stable and easy to load. Bands travel, warm you up, and fill the gaps when a full rack is not available.
When bands are the better tool
Home sessions, hotel rooms, warmups, and accessory work. A compact Resistance Band Set covers pull-aparts, rows, presses, and leg work without a bench. Variable resistance also makes lockouts and tempo work simple.
When weights are the better tool
Heavy compounds and clear progression. If you can load a squat, hinge, or press in small jumps, free weights or machines usually win for the main lift. Use bands around that work, not instead of it, unless you are training away from a gym.
A practical split
Bands for the first five minutes and the last accessories. Weights for the two or three main movements. The Home Training Kit pairs bands with a jump rope and planner if most of your week happens at home.
